    Default Salaries again

Can anyone tell me approximately what the going rate is for an unlicensed helicopter tech these days? I think the young guys here are a little underpaid but I don't want to throw figures around without some idea of what others are on.
Fixed wing boys can join in if you're feeling left out.
And while we're at it, why not throw some licensed salaries into the mix....now that I've gone and opened it up to everybody, you'll need to specify which category you fall into

    Thanks

Fitter 23k to 27K, licensed 35(ish)k basic, plus types etc.
System tested no fault found Doo dah, doo dah.

Helicopters are a collection of parts flying in relatively close formation while all rotating around different axis. This arrangement works work well until one of the parts breaks formation.

You could be specific for me Kitch. All information is useful. We employ both but in this case I was talking about permies.

Thanks for the response, a big difference between 23 and 40. What is the basic mech pay without shifts and overtime G2BM

Billy. The only thing out of date there is your post

conny unlicensed tech £15-22/hr, licensed £25-35/hr
permy unlicensed £18K-33K, licensed £30k ++++ (Basics only)

I think this is generally what you could expect, if you fall outside of this then you are either very lucky or in a ditch.

Kiwi, you can't really go with the offshore figures!

Unlicensed, 30ish, licences with a couple of relevant types, 40ish.

B2, what ever they will accept!
    All gassed up!
