Default any other maintenance providers ?

    Hi Guys,

Do you know any approved maintenance companies providing line maintenance in DUB (excluding FR, EI, Dublin Aerospace) ? I am looking for a "part time/weekend" unpaid practice for 1-3 months. Is it possible ?

    Please PM if possible

    Rgs

I doubt you'd be able to get any Line maintenance 'practice' anywhere but you might be able to get something in a hangar or base maintenance environment, in which case your options in DUB might be Dublin Aerospace, Aer Arann, or Cityjet...

    Hi john45,
Security clearances make part-time access for non-staff members a nightmare. As Billy said, a Base Maint place may have a non-airside access with less restrictions.

Why looking for unpaid? If you are looking for experience and OJT endorsements, you may even have to pay for the privilege. Since you have not mentioned your current status of achievement, I've had to read thru your previous posts. Even then, not conclusive whether you have finished and obtained Type ratings on ATR 42/72 or B737, A or B Licences.

thanks for advises. I am afraid you are right about long security check process, especially at DUB (20 mln pax, didn't know about it...) . I had to move to SE Ireland for a while (1-3 months) due to private reasons and I don't want to lose ongoing (line) maintenance practice for empty B1 application until Jun 14. I will try with Dublin Aerospace as they are private ..... ;p

You could also try Weston Airport which does a lot of light A/C and executive stuff, you shouldn't need an airside ID there...
