    The initial AAIB report on the crash at Blackbushe is now out at the link below:

    The only comment I'll make is look at the graphic that shows the touch down point of the aircraft.

    Three thousand fpm rate of descent approaching the threshold caught my eye.

    Looks like the crew could have a number of things better , but why was the microlight affecting the path of a landing aircraft ?
    B737,757,767 , A320/330/340 ........ And several bars .....

    Microlight similar to hogging the middle lane on a motorway. Would the micro have communications?

    In a controversial point of view - I'm not too sure the Pilot flying was indeed the 'Pilot' who was supposed to be flying and I have a feeling that the amateurish approach to the runway and the landing - points to a rich owner wanting to have a go at landing when visiting some quiet foreign aerodrome....?
    Looked alright to Me....

    Although Jug Ears did bend the 146 in similar circumstances years ago........
