For referendums which are so important to the country may be voting should be made compulsory. Low turnouts really do little to get a feel of the nations preferences.

That's true. But the Brexit referendum turnout was deemed to be higher than many other votes. Adults who don't bother to cast a vote shouldn't hinder the winners from implementing the manifesto they stood on.

As a stay in voter I thought there was a lot media blaming the EU for everything wrong with the UK. Most of it untrue. The UK has so many involvements with partners in the EU and in many different areas. Security, Space, Aviation, Workers rights which will take years to sort out.

The thing is jarwot, it will also take years for those that think we will be a great British nation again, to realise we are moving forward, not backwards. I love the term globalisation, as if we haven't lived on the same globe for billions of years. Evolution will hopefully take over from our intervention, coz god certainly has not.

When we are all dead and if the planet beats the Drake equation, humanity will realise it has all been down to the amygdala, that served us well then there were things out there trying to eat us, but today, those that wish to control us for their own beneift have tapped into its function to enrich the 0.0001%.

Just saying and have a read -
