You could always try a move to Scotland.

Apparently, the last referendum about splitting Scotland away from England had the wrong result. We now need more referendums until we get the right answer.

    Sound familiar?

Got to love this 'splitting from England', I didn't know that was what they were voting for.

BBC News; Sunday 02 July 2017
UK to withdraw from international fishing arrangement

The government is to end an arrangement that allows other countries to fish in UK waters, it has been announced.

The convention allows Irish, Dutch, French, German and Belgian vessels to fish within six and 12 nautical miles of UK coastline.

Environment Secretary Michael Gove said the move would help take back control of fishing access to UK waters.

The European Commission said it "took note" but felt the convention had been superseded by EU law.

Ireland's minister for agriculture, food and the marine, Michael Creed, however, said it was "unwelcome and unhelpful".

"Brexit poses very serious challenges to the seafood sector and this announcement will form part of the negotiations," he said.

The Scottish government backed the idea, saying it had been pressing for it "for some time".

It seems that the Brits cannot decide what they really want ............

Business leaders have demanded that ministers agree an indefinite delay in Britain’s departure from the European single market and customs union to give more time for talks on a long-term trade deal as Britain leaves the EU.

“This is a time to be realistic,” the CBI director general said in a London School of Economics speech on Thursday outlining their demands. “Instead of a cliff edge, the UK needs a bridge to the new EU deal. Even with the greatest possible goodwill on both sides, it’s impossible to imagine the detail will be clear by the end of March 2019.”

The director-general said companies were changing plans and slowing investment because of the prospect of “serious disruption” if the UK crashed out of the EU without an exit deal.

What a nightmare, feel let down by government not advising all the ups and downs of leaving the EU. Seems one area which influenced the public was the ease of access to citizens of Europe into the UK. Driving moans about Polish plumbers/electricians taking all the jobs etc. But the greatest threat to our nation is not the likes of Europeans coming in but the uncontrolled migration from Africa and the ME. Most of these coming in, have less trade skills, and will not be threatening our jobs but their cost to our nation will be a lot more to the public purse.
