    Definition of yammer

1 a :to utter repeated cries of distress or sorrow, b :whimper
2 :to utter persistent complaints :whine
Oh the irony. Yammer to your hearts content, it won't change a thing.

I am surprised though that the workers at BA are just sitting back and watching their pensions being run into the ground whilst the very few at the top get even more money .Engineers even the most experienced of us are just not needed it seems
Really, you are surprised. You need to start looking at how we have behaved over the years............we swallowed the lot without any resistance whatsoever. We are reaping what we have sowed............nothing in nothing out.

I saw a document explaining why BA chose Aviva as the pension provider they would like. It was not very informative but what was clear was that most of the options and flexibility provided boiled down to being the a chance to buy various forms of insurance from Aviva. Insurance that you might already have or could buy cheaper elsewhere. There was too little information provided to say anything else. It did show some of the charges for various investment funds that can be selected but did not provide essential details for the table to make full sense.
Many staff seem to have given up and taken a fatalistic view, this is a mistake, you need to make yourselves heard.
Er,I never touched it - it came off in me hand

I thought it was more to do with our ex CEO being on the board of Aviva.

It really does smell doesn't it.

Better news may be on the way if rumours are true.

I hope you're right Hugh I could do with some good news.

I see the pension people have issued a notice stating that no pension pot transfer valuations will be given during the consultation and any subsequent implementation phase to active members of APS or NAPS. This is to protect 'service levels' to the membership!

    Really.

I think the key word on the announcement was "transitional" !

Capetown, yes transitional to a retirement in poverty.

The new deal is worse than what B&Q has had 10 years or more and the transitional arrangement for NAPs members a bloody insult
