Is it not in your manuals? First place I would think to look before looking on the internet. System Schematics should tell you if you are using the correct effectivitity suite.

It exists for a lot of reasons. A primary reason is to share experience.

For the case at hand, you reported your discovery of something different and peculiar to a few aircraft. I personally responded because I know and have seen instances of minute differences in same model aircraft. The operator may lease-in an aircraft with slight differences in systems. A follow-on aircraft may be delivered to an operator with older aircraft of the same model. In these situations, it often takes a while for all technicians to become aware and for all the AMMs/IPCs to be updated.Hence, your shout-out to the forum is not out of place, since somebody here might already be familiar with such a situation.

But you have kept away for six days without letting us know if you have made some progress, either from our discussion here or from other sources. Feedback and closure are vital parts of a forum.

Looks to me the responses should lead to an answer---Manuals. NS reminded me--Worlds favorite had aircraft on long lease and they came with their own set of manuals, due to differences.
