    Greta Thunberg's zero carbon journey

    Full Report: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...carbon-journey

NS Comment: Greta Thunberg is on her way to address world leaders in New York. Crossing the Atlantic in a zero-carbon boat will take her 2 weeks, braving the elements and having no mod cons. Not even a flushing loo.
But then replacement crew members to take her and her entourages places, will fly out to crew the boat back !

Climate protesters dragged from top of London Underground train

Protesters from the climate campaign group Extinction Rebellion have been dragged from the roof of a Tube by angry commuters.

The men were demonstrating at Canning Town but were pulled down to the ground by people waiting on the platform after the Tube was unable to leave the station.

Elliot Laughlin, who describes himself as an independent journalist, was also pulled to the ground as he tried to film the disruption. He said he was then protected by members of the public on the platform.

The campaigners said the disruption was "necessary to highlight the emergency".

Donald Trump's Got His Knickers In A Twist Again About Greta Thunberg

It may have taken almost 24 hours, but to the surprise of no one Donald Trump has made his feelings known about Greta Thunberg’s appointment as Time Magazine’s Person of the Year.

Trump – who has been prone to a tantrum or two over the years after the annual announcement – described Thunberg’s recognition as “so ridiculous” on Twitter.

Apparently unprompted, the president retweeted a congratulatory message written by author Roma Downey, and launched into an attack on her “Anger Management problem”.

He wrote: “Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend!

    “Chill Greta, Chill!”

The 16-year-old climate activist has coolly responded to the US president's outburst over the Time Person Of The Year.
