The NHS, Post Brexit.

Donald Trump's State visit to England last week woke us up to some lurking dangers hovering over our NHS. The Don and his UK Ambassador expect the NHS to be on the table for any UK/USA Trade Talks.

With the Don's America-first strategy, we know they are looking out for number one. Question is, can we stave it off?

May be too late to stave it off NS. Believe there are quite a few NHS contracts with the USA currently supplies/service etc. What may well be a more imminent worry is contracts with the EU. So may drugs are supplied by the Germans, which could I guess be more expensive when out of the EU contracts system.

One should be wary about the lower American standards.

The currently ongoing inquest on the contaminated blood saga of the last few decades makes a painful viewing on TV.

Agree the mighty dollar by passed stringent checks on blood donors Not sure how much donor blood purchased by the NHS. But there again much like the aviation industry buyers have the responsibility to ensure all relevant checks have been done.
