    Default CFM56-3 High EGT on take off

    Is there a posibility for a CFM56-3 to have a high egt on take off caused by the N2 alternator even with the PMC off?. The reason for this question is due to one of the troubleshooting steps mentions the posibility but it is not clear whether it is with the PMC on or off (B737 MM ref.71-00-42 page 111 step 3.

    Not sure what your asking here,our B737s often have exceedances,the PMC only has 7% authority and ( for a 737 at least ) doesn't do any limiting functions,why wouldn't you get EGT problems?
