    Default Upload/Download area

The next idea is to host documents you would like access to on the server i.e. CAAIPS,EGLD,Part 145 etc so they are avilable to downlod wherever you are, the best way I can think of initially to stop goons, is that they are emailed over to me or O/T we'll take a look and if they are suitable host them up. Putting it to the floor though, would you use it ?

Hmm, just thinking with these days of cheap memory sticks, it should be easy for anyone to lug along such documents with them.

Agreed, but do you have access to every member's memory stick ? The advantage of this site is that we get to share the wealth of info that it has taken us years to accumulate.

Good idea, but would the info be links to up to date stuff, or the bits that were in date they were added to the site?

I'd have to agree with dc, keeping documents up to date would be an immeasurably large task.

The only way of being 100% sure of getting the correct data, is to download it direct from the source.

That's very true but there is plenty of other stuff we can host rather than just regulatory info . ie Training notes for certain airframes etc.
We can also use the topic to post up links to all the info that's subject to amendment of course.
