I used that one twice this week

    Except they really were AOGs

One was a straight there and back, for the other I went to work on thursday morning at 05:00 got back friday afternoon 14:00
I only remembered to tell (sorry ask) mrs Billy as I sprinted between terminals at LHR for a connecting flight......

A trip to Ikea would have been far more fun than both trips.....

Not to sure about all this crap about breakfast at Ikea, Belfast Intl is about 15 mile away at least, ok if you were at the George Best Airport where Ryanair have settled its just down the road then. As regards Aer Lingus at Bfs Intl, they have made no secret of the fact that they intend to develop it into a major base that will involve USA flights also Willie Walsh has made no secret either that there will be stronger ties with BA. The hangers at Bfs Intl are not suitable YET for maintenance as we know it, trust me I worked there for 30+ years. If the RAF base is closed then that would change things, there are suitable hangers and space at that side of the airfield, so my soarces tell me and they are "Irish" watch this space, it will all happen quicker than you think!!!!!!!!!!.

So how are we supposed to get all the way to and from Ikea through the city centre traffic for the breakfast before they stop serving it at 11:00?
I know Ikea do a home delivery service but does it include food?

the military hangars are to small at the minute they only hold a few helicopters each, was just wondering as there was a rumour at work saying there was some major plans for aer ingus at belfast.

    Wink Re: Moving to belfast?

The old hangers on the civy side, we were able to get an A320 into bar the tail for engine changes, the military hangers are much bigger just facing runway 26/08, there are lots of other hangers about the military side suitable for seat overhaul etc. as well as the larger hangers on "D" site, as I said watch this space!!!!! begorra. Great wee pubs all about the area, forget about IKEA.
