'Service Life Limited Parts' is just another way of saying 'Life Limited Parts'.
All Life Limited Parts have a 'service life' measured in FH, FC, or time, some documents refer to them as "Service Life Limited Parts" some refer to just Life Limited Parts (LLPs).

So, back to my original question. Service Life Limited parts in Part M; are they HT or LLPs, or both?
Yotha, are you asking with regards to passing an exam, or working in Part M?

The important thing is to keep in tune with the applicable ALI (Airworthiness Limitation Items) documentation.

An MLG component or Engine disk may have an ultimate life defined in the ALI. But, ahead of that ultimate (scrap) life, there may be periodic inspections or maintenance specified, to ensure that the component remains serviceable.

    I mentioned that earlier....

HTCs are not necessarily LLIs but some LLIs also appear on HTC listings, for example most landing gear would have a hard time (between overhaul) of 120 months but might also have a life limit of 60000 cycles (when it must be scrapped).

The only reason I mentioned it was because I didn't want to get into trouble for not mentioning it......

I hate the use of a "plane" as a noun for Aeroplanes. Its so lazy and all the BBC journo's use it. Plane has 4 differing meanings in the Oxford concise..
