As the man said.... there is ECAM system but not ECAM computer .......
Yeah, Antonio. The ECAM architecture is great. The Display Units being interchangeable on each Airbus type was superior to the different DU sizes on the 757/767. I think Boeing later got it right on the 777.

The main difference for me is that EICAS is dumb. It just tells the crew what's wrong. whereas ECAM has a built in electronic QRH (quick reference handbook) which tells the crew what actions to follow as a result of the warning.

Of course the 777 and later 747's may have this now (I work A320/321 and B757/767)
