Default Malaysia Airlines

Saw and advert recently for LAME's direct with Malaysia Airlines and might be considering it. I heard several years ago that they were not too bad to work for. Anyone got any up to date info?

Worked there several years ago. Country is excellent to live and play.Cost of living (apart from accomodation) is cheap, assuming you eat where the locals do... As to the work...well aircraft are aircraft..MAS well...very dissorganised, didnt really have a clue how to run an airline, no equipment, majority of mechanics need watching constantly, long drive now to the new airport if working there....asto what it is like now, dont believe it is any better...

I spent 11 months in KL with MASA in '99/'00. I fully concur with what NWT says. Great place to live, s**t place to work!

They're beginning to do interviews in Oz in June, so things are underway.
