i found the ***** syllabus very handy! there is a conversion chart where you just look down the list to find your present quals and it gives you the required exams(on the CAA site). roughly i think you will not have too much to do, perhaps part modules even. ie module 8 where you have to go deeper into aerodynamics

Dear Mr Zoo, I have converted to a full unrestricted B2, and i am now pursueing a B1 license too. From the CAA website you will find a grid which tells you what modules you need to be examined on, basically you will need to do 5 modules as follows, MOD6 materials and hardware, 20 m/c questions, MOD7 maint practices, 40 m/c questions, MOD11 airframe systems 90 M/C questions, MOD 15 gas turbines, 70 m/c questions and MOD17 propellers, 30 m/c questions. The module exams ara conducted monthly and cost £26 per module, results take upto about 2 weeks to get to you/ You are given a certificate stating which modules you have passed, and a note of any failures with a percentage obtained given for failures, so far i have passed mod6,7 15 and 17, with a recent failure of 71% for mod 11, i am reqd to wait a minimum of 3 mths before a resit is allowed. if you need any more help you may contact me at petec520@hotmail.com. I am also in contact with 4 or 5 other B2 engineers who are at various stages of the coversion. GOOD LUCK
